Atmiya Tennis Cricket Tournament

Inspired by a noble aim of developing the spirit of unity among the youths and to expand and increase their internal strengths and they live with each other with the spirit of sportsman spirit in the society by forgetting all the difference of caste and creed, Yogi Divine Society had, under its “Youths Awareness Campaign” organized an Atmiya Open Tennis Cricket Tournament at Surat. The opening ceremony of which, was celebrated on Sunday, the 31st Jan 2016 in the presence of renowned personalities of the city. All the participants of this tournament also had remained present in this ceremony to express and present a best picture of their Atmiyata. In the opening ceremony of this tournament organized on Sardar Patel Play Ground situated at Moti Ved, the corporators from Surat Mahanagar Ward No. 9 Shri Rameshbhai Ukani and Shri Laljibhai Ghori and the dignitaries like Shri Kiritbhai Patel (Dy. President, Talpada Koli Samaj, Moti Ved), Shri Kalidasbhai Kanthariya (President, Mahyawanshi Welfare Fund, Moti Ved), Shri Kantibhai Patel (President, Atmiya Youth Mandal, Ved) and the leaders of Moti Ved village like Shri Harishbhai Patel, Shri Chandrakantbhai Kanthariya, Shri Maheshbhai Patel, Dr. Jigneshbhai Patel (Med. Officer, Reliance Ind., Hajira) etc. also remained present. All were welcomed by garlanding them in the beginning of the function. Then, the tournaments were declared open by the Corporator Shri Laljibhai Ghori in the presence of the captains of both the teams, the Parth Eleven (Vani) and the Star Eleven (Purna Village) after breaking a coconut and tossing the coin in the center of the pitch. This was followed by playing the first tournament afrer Shri Kantibhai’s thanking all the dignitaries present there and giving a small occasional speech. All the dignitaries present there had highly praised in one voice the projects by Yogi Divine Society to develop and bring out the talents and the skills in the youths and to increase their physical as well as mental strengths and to motivate them to use the same for positive purposes in their life, by arranging such games/tournaments .
